Chapter 1 Wines online shopping website www.chapter1wines.com is provided to you for your personal use and subject to these Terms and Conditions. By using our website you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You must be over eighteen years old to purchase alcohol from www.chapter1wines.com.

Cash on Delivery / Mobile Banking

We accept Cash on Delivery (COD) within Yangon, Mandalay, Niy Pi Taw and other Regions nationwide upon special request. With this service, you can pay in cash to the delivery agent upon receipt of your order.

We also accept payments via mobile banking upon transacting your order. Simple, Secure and Hassle-free!

Legal Capacity to Transact

Persons under 18 years of age are not permitted to place orders for alcohol with www.chapter1wines.com.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions you acknowledge that you are over the age of eighteen (18) years. Any orders placed and accepted by us will be deemed to be by persons over the age of eighteen (18) years.

Should Chapter 1 Wines suffer any damage or other losses as a result of a transaction entered into by a minor, Chapter 1 Wines reserves the right to seek compensation for such losses from the parents or guardians of the minor who caused any order(s) to be placed with Chapter 1 Wines.

Delivery Policy

The item/s you order will be delivered to the address you give when you place your order. All items must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over.

If there is no one at the address who is competent to accept delivery of the item/s, the recipient will either be notified of an alternative delivery day or be asked to contact us. If multiple delivery attempts are made to the provided delivery address and a competent recipient is not present to sign for the item/s, or no effort is taken by the recipient to contact our delivery team to arrange re-delivery, the order will be returned to our warehouse. When no one is available at the time your order has been available for pickup, the item/s may be held back to us. Chapter 1 Wines will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any delay in delivery. You will become the owner of the item/s you ordered and responsible for risk of loss or damage once the item/s have been delivered to you.

Delivery service is available from Monday to Saturday only, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Myanmar Time/GMT +6:30). Goods will be delivered at our earliest possible date.

*No deliveries during Sunday and holidays.

*Please present your ID and order confirmation for verification.

Cut-off time for orders is 5:00 PM (Myanmar Time/GMT+6:30) on any business day. Orders received after the cut-off time will be processed on the following business day. An email notification will be sent to you for order confirmation.

Wine stock availability

Very occasionally we may run out of a particular wine without notice. Should this be the case we will contact you to discuss your order and advise of a later delivery date or recommend an alternative bottle or case. If our suggested wines do not meet with your requirements or if the new delivery date does not meet with your approval we will arrange a full refund.

Returns Policy

We are committed to delivering your item/s in excellent condition and in a timely manner, thus your satisfaction is very important to us.   At Chapter 1 Wines, we are committed to providing the best wines at great prices.  To assist you with your selection, we try to provide as much information as possible.  However, the ultimate judgment of taste is yours and we cannot guarantee that you will like the taste of every bottle of wine you select.  In the event that there is a problem with the quality or taste of a bottle, you can return unopened bottles in their original packaging and with our discretion, we may offer a replacement, a discount, a refund or an account credit to be used for a later purchase.
